When Frank the Rabbit appeared at Donnie Darko’s Halloween house party in 1988, time didn’t just fracture in the film – it fractured in our live immersive production. In our story, a “Welcome to the tangent universe” an unstable copy of reality quietly forms inside the venue. From there a fresh portal, with a 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes and 12 seconds countdown built into the show’s narrative. When the countdown ends, a full stage set of Donnie’s house reappears and the audience find themselves at a party trapped inside a timeline that shouldn’t exist. Through a series of scripted scenes, choreographed moments and interactive room performances, time bends, reality breaks, and nothing quite makes sense. As midnight approaches, the action escalates: will Frank return, will Donnie set things right, or have we been in the wrong universe all along? There are whispers that when the final portal closes, a special final chapter through Donnie’s universe will begin. Be the first to know when the next portal opens. Sign up, stay tuned, and don’t miss your moment on stage inside the Tangent Universe.
